Clearwater Aquarium

While in Tampa for Brae's Great Grandma's birthday party us kids took Brae and Destiny to the Clearwater Aquarium.  It was a pretty neat place, but what made it special was the dolphin that was missing his tail.  Braedon had a lot of fun watching the sting rays and trying to touch them in the water.  We watched the otters for a while, got to see a turtle up close, and we even caught the dolphin show.  It was a fun time, nothing like Sea World, but I think we all enjoyed watching the kids have a great time.

Here is Brae and Destiny touching a turtle.  Brae was giggling a lot and thought this was really cool!

Here he is sitting on a big sea turtle.

The one tail dolphin.  He actually learned how to swim by swimming more like a snake, but when they put his prosthetic tail on he swims just like any other dolphin.  He was so active and loved playing with a float that was in his area.

Zoo

One day we got out to the Jacksonville Zoo.  Braedon was so excited because he'd been asking to go to the zoo for a couple weeks before we got to Florida.  One thing I have to say, he has a great memory!!  It shocked both the boys when we got into the water area because they made us put them under this really cold shower.  They got so mad and it took some coaxing for my mom and I to get them back in the "fun" mode.  In all we had a good time at the zoo.
Milk Drunk!

Our newest little peanut.

Grayson's first bath.

Braedon's baby, at least that's what he says.

Everyone probably saw all these pictures, but I couldn't write a blog without putting some in it.  Our trip to Florida was great and it was hard leaving Grayson and everyone else.   I can't wait for Adam to get home so he can meet Gray and Finn who should be arriving in the near future.

Daddy's home for R&R!

Daddy arrives at the Killeen airport.  We were so excited and Adam couldn't stop smiling after Braedon!
Putting Brae on ski's.  He loved going down the hill, but not much else.
Here Daddy is putting Brae's house together.
Playing at the park near our house.
Bye Daddy, I'm sad to see you go!!!!  :o(

We were so excited for Adam to come home for R&R.  We had a ski trip planned and then just some hanging out around the house family time.  Braedon had fun running around the airport waiting for "daddy's plane" and went up and hugged Adam when he finally came out.
The very next day after Adam came in we were off and driving to Colorado for our ski trip.  We stayed out somewhere in west Texas the first night, and then in Colorado Springs the second.  I was so excited to see Sarah and Eve during our stop in Colorado.  Braedon and Eve ran after each other and it was totally cute!
The next day we made it to Copper Mountain.  We explored the first day and Adam and I skied the next day.  I was pretty nervous because it had been over 2 years since the last time, but I eventually calmed down.  Adam and I had a blast and Braedon truly had a lot of fun in the childcare.  We tried putting Braedon on ski's, but Adam and I think it he was a smidge too young.  He enjoyed skiing down with Adam, but he hated wearing the boots and having the skis on and just standing there.  Needless to say it was a very short day of skiing.  Adam and I skied one more day and headed out.  We definitely enjoyed our ski trip and can't wait to go back to Copper Mountain!
When we were back in Texas Adam put together Brae's birthday present from Mimi and Poppy.  Brae was climbing through it the whole time and loves playing in his house.  :o)
The morning that Adam left was pretty hard.  Brae looked so cute in his Daddy's hat.  Now it's just a few more months until we see him again.  Let's get this summer started!

Brae's 2nd Birthday

Okay so I wrote a brief paragraph before I tried to let me say, for the second time, put pictures in this blog.  For some reason the pictures kept wanting to go before my writing, why?  Sarah, you need to help me figure all this out the next time we're together because it drives me crazy.  It certainly isn't user friendly if you ask me.  Anyway, here are some pictures of around Brae's Birthday.  Aunt Char came into town for a few days, we went to the Waco zoo, and just hung out.  On his birthday, Brae had a pretty high fever.  We still had some neighbors over for pizza and cake, but Brae didn't want any.  I know he wasn't feeling very well, but he still seemed to have a fun day!

Aunt Char and Brae at the zoo.
Looking at a card and about to blow out his candles.  He's very good at blowing them out by the way.  He doesn't need any help!
Opening up some presents the neighbors gave him.
Winding down from a long Birthday.

He was all tuckered out.  I got this because he looked so darn cute.  I love how he's started putting his hands behind his head when he's sleeping.  Cutie pie!

Adam and I can't believe it's been two years already.  Time sure flies and we look forward to many more memories with this little stinker.  One of these days we'll have to add another to our mix.  :o)

Misc. Days

These darn pictures go from most recent to latest.  Couldn't get them to move.  Grrr.....So, here is some photos ranging from the last few days to my birthday.  He is so much fun!!!  Next post should be Brae's 2nd B-day!  Wowzer!!!
Here is Braedon trying on my purple crocs.  What a goof!
I just love this one.  Brae tried on his underwear.  Not potty training yet, but we had fun putting these on.  He looks adorable!
These next two shots happened after church last weekend.  Brae decided to start "posing" for the pictures.  There were way more pics then this, but I scaled it down to two for the blog.  He is so funny!
Here is the little Valentine!  We had a good day and I watched Sleepless in Seattle once I put Brae in bed.  Got to love all the love stories they put on tv that day.
Char's Birthday night, Dad was up in Michigan with Grams.
Char sitting with the adorable Keller on her bday.
Brae teasing Uncle Drew.  He was having so much fun!
We all look really pale, but here is a picture of the three girls at Char's baby shower.

Last picture is obviously my birthday.  Missie and Patty brought over a cookie cake they made for me.  Yummy!!

So, other than all these pictures, Brae and I have been keeping busy going to the gym; he has a lot of fun playing in the childcare area.  He barely gives me a kiss while waving bye and runs in to play.  I've been trying to go through our house and clear things out.  I'm getting clothes ready to take to a consignment shop, went through old prom dresses and ball gowns to give away, lots of fun stuff.  Adam should be coming home for R&R soon, yah!  We are so excited.  I can't wait for him and Brae to see eachother.  We are heading up to Copper Mountain, CO for a few days as well and should be a blast.  Adam has been checking updates on what's going on with the snow and stuff.....he is totally siked!  I love it!  Well, I will be on sooner than later to put up pics of Brae's Bday.  I still can't believe he's about to be 2, wow!

Uggghh!

Here goes with another blog.  I am telling you I have tried doing this a couple times since Thanksgiving, but I just get so darn frustrated with it.  I can never do it like I want.

This picture above is Brae, Keller, and Jamie playing with one of Keller's Christmas gifts.  Brae kept saying "mine" because he has one at home and didn't understand that one wasn't his.

Here is Braedon playing the guitar Aunt Emily and Uncle Jamie got him.  He really loves it!  One day he'll take lessons on it.  :o)

Yah!!!  I got to go to a Jags game.  We beat the Packers so it was a fantastic game.  Jamie is quite the heckler, hysterical!!

When we got back from a visit to Orlando my Mom and Dad had the Christmas tree up and a train going around it.  Oh my goodness did Braedon love it!!  He would say "Choo choo, choo choo".  He absolutely loved it!

Here is that face I love so much!!  Braedon makes me smile so much, he is just an absolute joy to have.  Okay so I have many more photos to stick on here, but it wouldn't let me so I'll put up some more next time.  I didn't get Christmas up north or Christmas with the Jackson's.  I'll try again later, maybe.  I don't know, I put all the pictures up on snapfish so everyone saw them on there.  Right now we are fighting a stomach bug.  Poor Brae can't keep anything in his tummy without it coming right out of his butt.  I could smell him from the hall this morning.  Poor baby!!  We've been very busy bathing and washing clothes and changing lots of diapers this morning and it's not even 10am.  I believe I've changed him 5 or 6 times.  Hopefully he'll feel better by tomorrow.
