Halloween

Once again I did the pictures backwards. I don't know why they don't get put on in the order I upload them, but what can I do??? Braedon was the cutest Buzz Lightyear for Halloween. We had a Halloween party with my Mommy group. He found a crown while there and put it on his head for a bit. He picked the picture Daddy carved on the pumpkin, a wolf. He is really into the story, The Three Little Pigs. He enjoys going through the story even when we don't have a book to read it from. Something about the "huffing and puffing and blowing your house in" makes him crack up! There are also pictures of Halloween evening. We had some friends over and went trick or treating with them in our neighborhood. Brae and the other kids did really good and lasted quite a bit. It will be interesting to see what costume he picks next year.

Pregnant

Here are two pictures of me; I think I'm 18 or 19 weeks pregnant here. Braedon is such a sweetie. He loves lifting up my shirt and kissing my baby bump. He gives his little brother hugs all the time. Adam and I can't wait to see him when this new addition comes; we think Brae will be a fantastic big brother and I can't wait to see the brotherly bond that they'll have. I'm doing pretty good. Already uncomfortable and not sleeping well, but what can I do about that. Adam rubs belly lotion on my tummy every night and he has already been kicked by this little guy as well. We are so excited to see what he looks like!

Fall Festival

Our church had a fall festival in October. They had lots of stuff for little ones to do including a bounce house, hay rides, and other games. Each game earned them some candy; Brae was super excited! When Brae gets into bounce houses he laughs and laughs and has such a great time. It was a fun evening with the family.

Here he is playing one of the games. He had such a great time. They played music and he ran around the dots, when the music stopped he got candy. He was so cute with this game because he loved the music and he'd just run around the circle so fast.

Another to catch up

Visiting the Dallas/Fort Worth Zoo. Braedon absolutely loves going to the zoo. He will run from animal exhibit to animal exhibit telling us which animal he wants to see next. It's so much fun to watch him. We really enjoyed our trip up to the zoo this day and thought the 2 hour and 20 minute drive was well worth it.

I am determined to hit every zoo near every post we go to. So far in Texas we've done Waco, Dallas, and Fort Worth zoo's. While living in Kentucky we did the one around there and we drove up to Cincinnati and went to that one. I love going to zoo's and am constantly looking for the best one.

Long time no write!!!

So once again I put the pictures backwards, but I am so far behind I'm just trying to add a few here and there to catch up. These are back from right before Adam got home, and right after he got home. Braedon was potty trained before his Daddy came home, except for pooping, and I got a picture of him on his toilet seat and one of him after he finished peeing on the potty. I also got a picture of the banner I put up for Adam for his homecoming, as well as some pictures at the neighborhood pool we hung out at that first weekend he got home. Braedon picked up with his Daddy right where he left off. He wanted to know where his Daddy was at all times, and even cried and told Adam not to leave him when he had to go into work for a few hours. Boy baby didn't understand and thought he was going to leave again for a while.

So this picture below is of Brae and Adam under the waterfall mushroom. Brae has a good time with that!!!

whip cream play date

We had a play date with my mommy group last week and Brae seemed to have a good time.  We covered the tables with whipcream and gave the kids these wooden sticks to play in it.  The first picture shows the only boy that really knew what to do with it.  He was getting down and dirty with it.  Braedon dipped the tip of his utensil in it and would lick off of it.  I put one of his hands in it and he wanted me to clean it off.  Come on Brae, get dirty with it!!!  He seemed to have a great time and we are really enjoying our Mommy group!!!  

"Queen"

So, my Braedon is so into the Cars movie!  He has actually watched it about three times this past week, he watches the whole movie!!  He walks around saying, "my queen", which he is obviously talking about Lightning McQueen.  He cracks me up.  I had bought him a while ago a matchbox car of the green car from the movie.  I have to run to the store today and I am going to grab him a "queen" one.  Hahaha.  He's also been so into his trains.  He loves Thomas and all the other ones.  I got him a Thomas book a few weeks ago and on the inside cover there is a Thomas train track set.  Oh boy, he talks about that all the time too.  My train tracks Mommy, my train tracks.  I told him that maybe Santa will bring him some at Christmas so he has to wait.  Thought he'd forget about it by now, but he still talks about it.  Poor boy pushes his trains on a Little People airport road, hahaha.  I refuse to buy him the tracks until Christmas though, is that mean of me??? 

Yesterday we drove around in search of an open pool.  We finally drove onto post and went to one there.  Oh yeah, by the way, I apparently don't drive on post very often because my id card expired the first of April.  Oops!  They confiscated it and I need to get there this week to get a new one.  Lovely.  We did have fun at the pool though.  I dunked Braedon once, he didn't want me to do it again.  I would ask him to do stuff and he would tell me no because it's "scary".  Haha, he was making me laugh the whole time.  I can't wait for his swim lessons in a few weeks.  

Tomorrow we have a play group involving whip cream and bathing suits.  I will try to remember to pull out my camera and take pictures.  Hopefully I can get some of those pictures on in a timely manner.  Other than that we are trying to wait patiently for Adam to come home, a little over a month to go......YAH!!!!!
